Service Description
6 week class This class will focus on preparing handlers for their debut in Novice Agility. We will practice short sequences with jumps & tunnels, 6 weave poles and maintaining criteria for contact obstacles. Dogs should already have taken “Agility Basics” or graduated out of another agility foundation class. Dogs should be able to maintain good connection with their handler off leash. They also need to be familiar with jumps, tunnels and have started contacts and weave training. The class will also touch on the “not-so-obvious” ring prep behaviors needed for a trial debut like entering/exiting the ring, warm ups/cool downs and dealing with distractions in the ring.
