My journey into dog sports started when I was 21 with my very first dog in a local puppy class. In the next ring, an agility class was in full swing, and within minutes of watching, I knew I had to give it a try. As soon as my puppy class ended, we dove straight into agility training—and I was hooked from the start. Aside from taking a few years off to raise our three kids, I’ve been training and competing ever since.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with many breeds, including English Setters, Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, and now my breed of choice—the English Springer Spaniel. Each dog has been a teacher in their own way, showing me the value of patience, creativity, and celebrating every small victory.
I’m passionate about teaching and helping handlers discover just how fun and rewarding dog training can be. Whether it’s a team stepping onto the agility field for the first time or chasing their next big title, my goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where both dogs and handlers can learn, grow, and succeed together.
