My dog training began back in 1998 with two young male dogs who didn’t quite get along. That experience sparked a passion for understanding canine behavior and building better relationships between dogs and their people. In 2003, I began volunteering with a rescue organization, where I helped train and rehabilitate dogs so they could find loving homes.
In 2004, I trained my first agility dog, and I was hooked. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with multiple breeds and earning several Championship titles. In 2015, I began teaching dog agility, and it quickly became one of my greatest joys. I believe agility is truly a team sport—both the dog and the handler need to be happy for the team to be successful. My favorite part of teaching is helping my students reach their goals while having fun and building a stronger bond with their four-legged teammates.
